The EMS Clinical Coordinator in Clackamas, Oregon, will oversee the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program, ensuring student placement and compliance with clinical requirements. This role involves building relationships with hospitals and EMS agencies, monitoring student progress, and providing essential feedback to enhance educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates initiation and renewal of clinical/affiliation agreements
Collaborates with the GMR Learning executive team to ensure current contracts and seeks new clinical/field sites
Participates in regular meetings with Program staff to review student progress
Develops and maintains relationships with clinical site managers and staff
Schedules clinical rotations and provides orientation for students
Tracks student patient contacts and evaluates student performance
Conducts performance reviews and provides ongoing assessments
Required Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
Must obtain and maintain AHA ACLS Instructor, PALS, and PHTLS Instructor certifications within one year of hire
Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse required
Current certification/licensure in the Program state
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience preferred
NREMT preferred
