Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to members and providers to discuss medication adherence
Gather prescription refill orders and provide customer service
Determine eligibility for Medical Assistance Program
Document calls and maintain accurate records
Support staff and providers with Medicare drug-related issues
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor
Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Texas
National Certification
1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
6+ months of experience in a call center setting
Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
Intermediate writing skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet, and email
Beginner knowledge of Medicare Part D
Preferred Qualifications
PBM experience
Beginner knowledge of NCPDP and prescription drug claims
Working knowledge of Medicare Part B and Part D coverage guidelines
