Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Provide high-quality, compassionate, and timely care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Work in a 36-bed Emergency Department serving approximately 59,000 patients annually
• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients presenting with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions
• Conduct patient triage using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care
• Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and provider orders
• Operate and monitor medical equipment including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care testing devices
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and healthcare team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic medical record
• Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, code blue, stroke, and STEMI protocols
• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN license (or compact license), BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
• Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings preferred
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to trauma and critical illness
• Position requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout shifts
