CT Technologist – Cardiac Radiology (ARRT-CT) - Travel Position
Location: Burlington, VT
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: 5x8s
Pay: $3415/week
Assignment Details
-ARRT CT certified required
-Every other weekend required
-Must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day
-Must apply for Vermont license at time of offer
-Phillips equipment experience required
-Must be able to independently scan traumas
-Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility preferred
-Must be able to start PIVs independently (critical for success in this assignment)
-EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory and non-negotiable
-No block schedules; work Monday through Sunday
-Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
-All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
-Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission
-Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended (public transportation not accessible)
-Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires November through April
Required Certifications & Competencies
-ARRT CT Certification
-ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA approved
-BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA approved
-PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA approved
-National Tech Certification Verification (within 30 days of assignment start)
-Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual HIPAA requirement)
-State License Verification (primary source within 30 days of start and upon expiration)
-NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP; within 30 days of start and annually)
-Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as required by profession)
-Color Blind Testing (required)
-Competency Exam (as required by specialty)
Facility-Specific Requirements
-Vermont Adult and Child Abuse Registry Consent Form (time sensitive)
-Onsite Flu Vaccination Schedule (if receiving flu vaccine onsite)
-COVID Questionnaire (time sensitive, must be completed before start)
-Vermont Crime Information Center (VCIC) criminal background check required
-Photo for badge (passport style, plain light background, no logos or hats)
-Review of Dress Code and Telephone Usage Policies prior to start
-Auto Registration Form (must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract)
-COVID Testing Protocol on Day 1 (mandatory testing and mask-wearing)
-Completion of EPIC and Cornerstone modules prior to start (approx. 8 hours, non-billable)
-COVID-19 Vaccination Attestation and documentation (vaccine card, declination, or exemption) required one week prior to start
-Emergency Contact Form completion required
-Hepatitis B and Pneumonia Vaccination or Declination forms as applicable
-NameTag Verification setup required
-Workday Information Attestation completion required
Health Requirements
-Physical exam within 12 months of start
-N95 Fit Mask Test (annual) - approved mask types specified
-Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years or titer
-Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual updates required)
-Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer
-Hepatitis B series and titer or signed declination
-Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
-Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (season)
-COVID-19 Vaccine or Declination
-Pneumonia Vaccination or Declination (if assigned to NY facility)
-Drug Testing (not required annually for VT facilities but must be obtained prior to start)
Background & History
-Background check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, updated annually
-Employment application required
-Skills checklist within 12 months
-2-year verification of most recent clinical work history
-Education verification as required by job (primary source verification of highest degree)
Additional Notes
-No block scheduling allowed
-Orientation bi-weekly on Mondays
-Reliable transportation is essential due to lack of public transit
-Winter driving conditions require appropriate tires
-All documentation and compliance must be completed timely to ensure assignment start
