Key Responsibilities
Greet visitors and patients in person
Communicate by telephone or video conferencing, upholding excellent customer service
Handle confidential information appropriately
Prioritize and assess information to identify immediate emergency needs
Enter and update patient demographic and financial information
Provide patients with financial responsibility information and collect patient liabilities
Coordinate patient admission needs, bed assignments, and tracking boards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work rotating holidays
Ability to complete 6-8 weeks of training during 1st shift hours
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with electronic medical records system
Experience in a medical office or hospital admitting/registration office
