Key Responsibilities
Oversee medicine and surgery at ASPCA’s veterinary clinics
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques
Support a positive work culture through regular feedback and coaching
Perform veterinary care including spay/neuter procedures and diagnostics
Schedule staff for optimal coverage
Participate in veterinary medicine rounds and meetings
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Excellent work attendance record
Fear Free® Shelter certification within 60 days of hire
