We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable HR Generalist to support our clients manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR practices and some experience in payroll processing. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting plant-level HR functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive work environment for our production teams. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for hourly and salaried employees on HR-related matters. Support recruitment and onboarding for plant and warehouse roles, including job postings, interviews, and orientation. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HRIS systems. Assist with payroll processing, including timecard reviews, shift differentials, and coordination with payroll teams. Administer attendance tracking, leave of absence requests, and FMLA documentation. Support safety initiatives and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs. Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes. Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Working knowledge of payroll processes and timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos, ADP). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across shifts and departments. Familiarity with labor laws, safety regulations, and HR compliance requirements. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
