Key Responsibilities
Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws
Facilitate legitimate trade and travel
Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances
Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the U.S.

Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship
Residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years
Age limit: Must be referred before turning 40
Experience or education based on GS-5 and GS-7 criteria
Preferred Qualifications
Prior law enforcement or military experience (for GS-9 eligibility)
Superior Academic Achievement or graduate-level education (for GS-7 eligibility)
