Key Responsibilities
Greets patients, answers the telephone, books appointments, verifies patient insurance coverage, and acts as cashier for payments.
Notifies back-office staff of patient’s arrival in a timely manner.
Directs patient flow and prepares patients for exams.
Proactively monitors and manages provider schedules for accuracy.
Participates in the orientation and training of new employees.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in a service-related industry or 6+ months of customer service experience in a professional office setting
Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate computer and telephone skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Excellent proven customer service skills
Ability to use multiple computer programs at once
Ability to work well with providers, clinical staff and patients
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work
