An Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist provides inpatient OB and GYN care, including labor and delivery support, consultations, and emergency department services in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a Level 4 NICU. The physician leads teams, oversees residents and advanced practice providers, and participates in quality and safety committees to implement evidence-based medicine. This full-time position requires board certification or eligibility and offers extensive subspecialty support in a well-respected hospital and academic training environment in Hartford, Connecticut.
OB GYN Hospitalist opening in CT Located in Hartford Full Time Position Group is seeking for a BE/BC OB-GYN to provide services at the Hospital. Some highlights of the OB Hospitalist opportunity include: Providing call coverage and L&D support Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team Member of patient safety and quality review committees Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU.
