Key Responsibilities
Responds to requests for paramedic services in a timely manner
Completes documentation and records according to department policy
Ensures vehicle and equipment readiness for response
Renders pre-hospital medical care at the paramedic level
Performs assigned duties in the emergency department under supervision
Acts as a team leader during emergency responses
Maintains care of vehicle and equipment
Pursues professional growth in Paramedicine technology
Participates in community activities to improve public understanding of EMS
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Community Paramedic class and clinical portion
Prior experience as a provider of pre-hospital care in an emergency setting
Verification of an acceptable motor vehicle driving record
ACLS - EMS certification
BLS - EMS certification
Valid Driver's License
EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certification
