Job Description
We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry care, with a focus on patient safety and quality care during their shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
- Monitor vital signs and ECG rhythms; recognize deviations and initiate appropriate responses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient assessments and care interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Current and valid Ohio RN license or Compact state license.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation with an acceptable score.
- Completion of safeMedicate assessment during orientation with an acceptable score.
