Job Description

Join Quill as a Sales Business Development Representative, focusing on driving revenue growth in the Philadelphia area. You'll engage with new customers, develop tailored solutions, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while enjoying a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective customers
  • Create engaging presentations using marketing collateral
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Develop custom pricing solutions for commercial customers
  • Leverage educational contracts to acquire new customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management upon customer commitment
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas and metrics
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Constantly seek improvement and apply coaching
  • Positively impact team culture and build trust
  • Drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory (approximately 50% travel)
  • Remote Role covering Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
