Job Description
Join Alameda Health System as a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Faculty member, where you'll provide high-quality emergency medical services and contribute to the training of future leaders in the field. Engage in teaching, scholarly work, and patient care in a supportive environment at Highland Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical services to patients in the Emergency Department
Supervise and teach residents, interns, and medical students
Participate in residency teaching conferences and academic projects
Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record
Consult with EM QRC leadership for better clinical outcomes
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California
Valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license
