Join Cargill as a Utilities Operator to contribute to sustainable food production. This full-time role involves operating machinery, conducting repairs, and ensuring safety in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy machinery or computer programs
Perform general repairs and maintain equipment
Conduct daily set-up of area
Troubleshooting
Perform lock out tag out and other safety procedures
Documentation: daily log, round sheets, and other reports
Maintain cleanliness and a safe working environment
Any other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Legal to work in the US
18 yrs old or older
Read, write, and speak English
Basic math which includes fractions and algebra
Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
Must be able to write and read in the prevalent language of technical literature utilized at the facility
Willingness and ability to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT
Must be able to attain the refrigeration/Caro and Ciro certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill experience
Computer skills
Previous ammonia refrigeration or PSM experience
