Job Description
Join the MercyOne family as a Sterile Processing Case Cart Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting the perioperative services department by managing inventory and ensuring accurate supply delivery to the OR. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule with rotating weekends and holidays, providing a chance to contribute to patient safety and care in a distinguished health system.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory related to picking and replenishing products
Pull products for OR cases as assigned
Ensure accuracy of case carts and deliver to the OR
Distribute medical supplies and equipment to OR/Surgical areas
Monitor case cart levels and identify excess inventory
Notify leader of gaps in daily process
Participate in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items
Maintain clean and orderly sterile locations
Act as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Required Qualifications
High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Less than 1 year experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Previous perioperative service or inventory management experience
Microsoft Office Suite
