Job Description
Join Good Samaritan as a Director of Nursing to lead quality care in a long-term care facility, ensuring compliance and optimizing geriatric care processes. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors while managing a dedicated nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service matters
Monitors nursing staff operations and ensures compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Develops and implements marketing activities/programs
Required Qualifications
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Five years nursing experience
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Housing with Services, housing and urban development (HUD), and/or assisted living experience
