Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and repair diesel equipment
Perform preventative maintenance
Document repair orders and inventory
Handle road service calls
Maintain a safe work environment
Backup other maintenance shop personnel

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class-A CDL license (DOT certified preferred)
7 years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or 5 years with Diesel Mechanic Certification
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency
Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Computer and software experience
