Job Description

Join the Boys & Girls Club as a Youth Development Specialist to inspire and guide youth in afterschool programs. You'll lead engaging activities, provide mentorship, and foster a safe environment for children aged 5-13, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging activities in education, arts, health & wellness, sports, and leadership development
  • Provide homework help and mentorship
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for youth ages 5-13
  • Supervise groups of students and support positive group dynamics
  • Keep program spaces organized, clean, and safe
  • Serve as a role model and motivator

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to earn certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth (paid, volunteer, or personal)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and leadership skills
