Join Drax as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining equipment that supports renewable energy generation. Your expertise will help ensure the reliability and safety of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
Inspect meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations
Perform preventative maintenance inspections of all control instrumentation
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures
Complete work order cycles and maintain equipment history
Diagnose existing or potential trouble with plant electrical equipment
Clean, lubricate, calibrate, and adjust equipment as needed
Install and place electrical equipment into service
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years industrial maintenance experience
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo and Frequency Drives
Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree
