The Social Worker will provide clinical services at an outpatient mental health clinic, focusing on evidence-based care for individuals and families. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing various therapeutic services while maintaining a culturally affirming approach.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis services/interventions
Liaise with families, schools, and other community agencies
Participate in clinical meetings and trainings
Maintain documentation according to established standards
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
