Maximus is seeking a dynamic Director of Enterprise Accessibility Programs to lead initiatives ensuring digital products are accessible to all users. You'll drive compliance, advocate for best practices, and manage a team while providing consulting services to clients. This role is critical in scaling accessibility practices and ensuring organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and expand a client-facing and internal accessibility program
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards
Own portfolio-wide compliance monitoring and reporting
Drive organizational change to embed design best practices
Provide accessibility consulting, testing, and remediation as an advisory service
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum 10 years related experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital accessibility, including leadership roles
At least 5 years of experience directly managing professional individual contributors
Proven track record of leading and growing a successful accessibility program
Expert understanding of accessibility standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA, DHS Trusted Tester)
Familiarity with Agile development processes
Experience conducting user research with people with disabilities
Experience maintaining a library of accessibility design documentation and guidelines
