Key Responsibilities
Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Determine exposure factors and adjust equipment controls
Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings
Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations
Process images for quality control and identification
Perform routine maintenance on radiologic equipment
Orient new hires and train students
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or one year with ARRT Certification
