Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries
• You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
• You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames
• You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
• You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

RESIDENCY SPECIALTY: EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

**ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SCHDULED TRAININGS**

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Management Assault Behavior, or Nonviolent Crisis Interv Inst, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
