Job Opportunity: Surgical Services Traveler

Overview

We are seeking dedicated Surgical Services Travelers to join our team for a unique and impactful role in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position involves providing quality surgical care and support across various specialties, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Unit Notes

• COVID & FLU vaccinations are required. Declination for COVID will not be accepted as of 11/1.
• All travelers must be vaccinated.
• On-call responsibilities approximately 8-10 shifts per month.
• Primary responsibilities include first assist, scrubbing, and circulating as needed.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-hour Day shifts.
• Expected to take call during work days, averaging one day a week and one weekend a month.
• Rotating days with flexibility to accommodate home base visits; long weekends are available once a month.

Specialties Involved

General, Orthopedic, GYN, Uro, Robotics, and Bariatric surgeries.

Facilities & Amenities

• Call rooms available at the RSH campus, about 10 minutes away.
• Private rooms equipped with beds, phones, and computers, along with community bathrooms, showers, entertainment, microwaves, and fridges.

Additional Information

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Charting System: Cerner Corporation - PowerChart.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• BSN is not required.
• License to Submit: Yes.
• Trauma Level: Acute Care Setting.
