Key Responsibilities
Perform quality assurance and calibration of radiation treatment equipment
Maintain and manage treatment planning systems (Eclipse, Aria)
Provide patient-specific dosimetry calculations and physics consultations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body regulations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, clinical trials, and educational activities
Serve on the Radiation Safety Committee and assist with shielding design and safety planning
Lead quality improvement programs and support departmental policy development
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Radiological Physics, or related field
Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP)
Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in therapeutic radiation physics
Proficiency with QA techniques and clinical software systems
Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
