• Shifts: 12-hour nights (3x12s per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/31/2025
• End Date: 1/30/2026
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing – ICU RN
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Proficient in ventilator and tracheostomy care
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred)
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
• Flexibility to float between ICU, COVID ICU, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Willingness to assist with CNA duties if needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to ICU and COVID ICU patients
• Manage patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy support
• Administer and titrate critical care drips, including sedation
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the healthcare team
• Float between ICU, PCU, and COVID units as needed
• Document care accurately using CPSI Evident Thrive EMR system
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations
• Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork in a dynamic hospital setting
