This position is for a fellowship-trained breast surgeon at St. Michael Medical Center in Kitsap County, providing clinical care and helping to develop a center of excellence. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, breast cancer clinics, tumor boards, clinical research, and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities. The surgeon will be part of a supportive healthcare team focused on compassionate, high-quality breast cancer treatment and patient-centered care.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
We have a new practice opportunity for a fellowship trained breast surgeon to join our team in Kitsap County. This is an excellent opportunity for a breast surgeon who is looking to both work clinically and help build our center of excellence. We recently opened a brand new state of the art hospital in Silverdale and you will practice on this campus. This hospital includes a new comprehensive cancer center and certified specialists to coordinate patient care.

Position highlights:
  • Collegial group of specialists and supportive leadership team
  • Wide referral network of primary care and specialists
  • Breast Surgery Call, with no General Surgery call requirements
  • Mix of clinic, OR and hospital rounding
  • A weekly multidisciplinary tumor board providing recommendations for all new and postoperative patients
  • Weekly Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic for newly diagnosed patients
  • Dedicated breast health team focused on nonsurgical patients in Breast Clinic
  • Breast radiologists who perform mammography, ultrasound and MRI exams and core biopsies with each of the modalities
  • Access to partial and whole breast radiation
  • A reconstructive service with a full spectrum of patient choices

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience
  • Medical Degree
  • Board Certified
  • Fellowship training with focus on Breast Surgery
  • Unrestricted Washington State Medical License
  • DEA with full prescriptive authority

This is a great place to visit or live for outdoor enthusiasts. Many outdoor activities that include hiking, biking, kayaking, and whale watching! The hospital is on a beautiful campus built in 2020. There are views of the Olympic mountains to the west and nearby walking & hiking trails. If you prefer to venture off into the city on your days off Seattle is just a ferry ride away

Pay Range
$193.17 - $295.18
