Certification required: BLS, and CST certification if required by the Indiana State Laws

Scope of role: working in the cardiovascular OR, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow or procedures, will be assisting and passing in cases, assisting in turning over OR rooms etc to keep the surgical cases flowing

Years of experience required: 2 years

Call requirements: on call as needed

Numbers of beds in unit: 4 ORs

Skills required: recent 2 years of experience in the CVOR setting, must have strong cardiac surgery skills, thoracic daVinci experience
