Key Responsibilities
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images
Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients
Maintains accurate records, files and billing information
Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment
Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images
Required Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT)
Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
