As a Registered Nurse in the Medicine Float Pool, you will provide care to a variety of patient populations. An RN in this role is familiar with complicated medical histories, advanced surgical procedures, pain modalities, and thorough nutritional support. This position requires someone who can be flexible and comfortable working among many different teams. Your primary duties will include:
• Providing direct nursing care.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions as appropriate.
• Preparing patient care plans.
• Administering prescribed medications.
• Performing bedside hand-off reports and thorough bedside daily rounds.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:

• Has excellent communication skills.
• Can adapt to change.
• Is always energetic.
• Can critically think and problem solve for patients’ best interests.
This is an excellent opportunity for already established RNs to discover multiple units at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and gain hands-on experience.
PRN RNs work a minimum of 48 hours per six week scheduling period.
