Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Coordinate with other workers for equipment installation and maintenance
Consult with operators and engineers to plan equipment layout and resolve operational issues
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect components for accurate assembly and installation
Maintain equipment logs and record performance problems
Repair, install, and adjust equipment and machines
Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions
Work extended shifts as needed
Follow all safety regulations and standards
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Physical ability to perform job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to work under special work conditions (extreme heat or cold)
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills including data entry and retrieval
Ability to work overtime and on holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts
Experience with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and mathematical knowledge required
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Must be willing to work in inclement conditions and extreme temperatures
Must have very good time management skills
Strong commitment to safety
Must have adequate transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from various blueprints, maintenance manuals, and drawings
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical system, or equivalent
