Position Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, competent, and patient-centered perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role involves coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure the surgical environment is sterile, efficient, and well-prepared.
Job Duties:

  • Perform preoperative patient assessments and verify surgical consents, allergies, and medical history.

     
  • Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and available.

     
  • Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining safety and comfort.

     
  • Serve as a circulating or scrub nurse during procedures, supporting the surgical team as needed
    Note: 2 years of experience RN _ OR,
    Requirements:
  • Certifications: BLS, RN NY State License
