Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients during interfacility transport
Provide theory-based professional care in collaboration with the patient and family
Coordinate care delivery with the physician and other members of the healthcare team
Required Qualifications
NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic
Paramedic – Certified in the District of Columbia or ability to acquire prior to start date
Paramedic – Licensed in Maryland or ability to acquire prior to start date
Health Services/ACLS
BLS - Basic Life Support
Health Services/PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification within 180 Days or TPATC - Transport Prof Adv Trauma Crse within 180 Days
