Requirements

Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year experience as an inpatient PACU RN within the last year.
Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
Strong experience recovering patients from common surgical procedures.
Competency with post surgical and post anesthesia care such as airway management, temperature regulation, managing acute pain, and emergency response protocols.
Must have experience providing discharge instructions to patients and families.
