Key Responsibilities
Respond to mechanical issues in the production environment
Complete maintenance projects and work orders as assigned
Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
Write parts requests and corrective work orders
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Keep a clean work area
Perform building inspections and routines
Communicate with other team members
Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessary
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Understanding of AC/DC motors and motor control circuits
Computer literate
Familiarity with CMMS work order systems
Good attention to detail
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
Ability to understand blueprints and drawings
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work at heights from ladders or scissor lifts
Ability to make decisions
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with boilers and steam systems
Strong welding and fabrication experience
Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency with Allen Bradley product line
Knowledge of conveyance
Food manufacturing background with an understanding of FDA requirements
