Echo Tech (Echocardiography Technician)

Cape May Courthouse, NJ

Days : (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Position Overview:

We have an urgent need for a skilled Echo Tech to join our team at Cape May Courthouse, NJ. The start date is ASAP . In this role, you will perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress echoes and transesophageal echoes, while adhering to the American Society of Echocardiography guidelines and ICAEL (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) standards. EPIC experience is REQUIRED for navigating electronic medical records.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday (M-F)
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• No call required

Required Certifications and Registrations:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must be registered through either:
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
  • CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)

Key Responsibilities and Minimum Requirements:

• Perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress echoes and transesophageal echoes, in compliance with American Society of Echocardiography standards and ICAEL accreditation.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound principles and the operation of digital ultrasound equipment.
• Complete all daily scheduled tests within appropriate time frames, tailored to specific patient populations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain the process to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Navigate electronic medical records (EPIC system) proficiently to document and access patient information.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in echocardiography, with the ability to handle a full range of cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Strong patient interaction skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
