Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients under the direction of a licensed practitioner
Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs and administering injections
Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire
6 months healthcare experience
6 months Medical Assistant experience
