Join Optum as a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment. You'll assist in dispensing medications, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring compliance, all while making a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need of mental health support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under supervision
Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records
Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy functions and compliance
Perform clerical duties related to the department
Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills
Occasional deliveries as needed using own vehicle
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician trainee license in the state of Ohio
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certifications
6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
