The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is urgently seeking experienced CAT Scan Techs for a reputable facility in San Leandro, CA. This is a travel opportunity for professionals ready to make an impact in a dynamic radiology/cardiology department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both CT and X-ray duties
- Provide imaging support to the Operating Room (OR) as needed
- Adapt to varying shift needs based on department demand
Shift Details:
- Primary Coverage: Days and Evenings
- Possible Mid-Shift Coverage
- Scheduled Shift: 5x8-Hour Days
- Hours: 07:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40
Requirements:
- Certifications:
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- CST
- Fluoroscopy Certification
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT and X-ray
- Travel-Ready and available to start September 29
