Job Description
Join Quill, a part of Staples, as a Sales Account Manager and lead sales initiatives for a growing customer base. Utilize your strategic skills to manage accounts and develop tailored solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts (~$8-10M+)
Acquire new business and grow sales while managing current customers
Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
Create strategic growth plans and identify new opportunities
Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated
Engage in sales through phone, social selling, email/digital, and on-site visits
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
Availability to travel (up to 4x per year)
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Prior experience working with large complex accounts
Track record of exceeding sales quota
Experience managing complex deals from start to finish
Experience with business-to-business sales process
Responsibility to retain and grow accounts
