Job Description
Join Desert Regional Medical Center as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you will play a vital role in providing nuclear imaging services and ensuring patient safety. Work in a supportive environment that values innovation and compassion while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nuclear imaging services under the supervision of a Radiologist
Administer Radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate imaging equipment and develop film/images
Participate in quality control procedures and maintain equipment and supplies
Maintain records for patient documentation and compliance with NRC and state agencies
Communicate with physicians to implement and modify protocols
Monitor Technologists and maintain an efficient work environment
Help maintain department budget goals
Maintain radiation safety at all times
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
National certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Current Certification with the State of California (CRT)
Completion of at least two years of college level academic credits in physical sciences or comparable education
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
