As a Lead Preschool 2 Teacher with Crystals Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children, guiding, and mentoring other staff members, and fostering a love of learning in our students. Key Responsibilities for Lead Preschool 2 Teacher with Crystals Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program: Classroom Leadership: Lead and manage a classroom of young learners with average ages 3-5, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for all children. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with our curriculum goals and encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Supervision and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and aides, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Child Assessment: Observe and assess children's progress, identifying individual needs and developing strategies to support their growth. Establish strong partnerships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and classroom activities. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other lead teachers and center administrators to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare program. Classroom Management: Implement effective classroom management techniques, promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a clean and secure environment for the children. Qualifications for Lead Preschool 2 Teacher with Crystals Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is strongly preferred. OR Associate's degree or 28 credits in early childhood education or relevant fields, including art, psychology, sociology, teaching, etc., OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential 2 years of experience working in an early childhood education setting is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of child development theories, early childhood education principles, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staff. Passionate about early childhood education and committed to the growth and development of young learners. Additional Information for Lead Preschool 2 Teacher with Crystals Cuddle Bugs Childcare Program: Compensation for the Lead Teacher position ranges from $19.91/hour, commensurate with experience in the industry and with Cuddle Bugs, and education.
