Job Responsibilities

Administration of medication, provision of student treatments, tube feedings, medical assessments, and other related nursing needs of students. Maintains adequate medical records by recording and reporting students' signs, symptoms, reactions, and progress through analysis of records. Reports pertinent information regarding students to the physician and Nurse Administrator/Manager II. Assists in the identification of special needs for students with multiple disabilities and assists in the planning and development of in-service and educational programs for staff and students, as requested.

Minimum and Additional RequirementsGraduate from an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program. Must have a current SC LPN License issued by the State Board of Nursing and three years of full-time experience. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement.
