Job Description
ABF Freight is hiring a CDL-A Local Driver/Forklift Operator in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves the pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading trailers, and performing various inspections. Join a trusted company with excellent benefits and competitive wages.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and cargo pickup/delivery
Exercise independent judgment in trailer building and tearing down
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Willingness to work varying shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
