Job Description

Join Quill, a leader in office supplies, as a Sales Business Development Representative, focusing on driving new revenue and building strategic programs in the Philadelphia area. Leverage your sales expertise to engage with customers, present solutions, and exceed quotas while contributing to a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
  • Schedule appointments and meet with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral to drive prospect engagement
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts for customer acquisition
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management upon customer commitment
  • Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Seek constant improvement and apply coaching
  • Positively impact team culture and work collaboratively

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory (approximately 50% travel)
  • Remote role covering Philadelphia, PA

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
