Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer Drafter, where you'll support the Plant Engineering team by creating and modifying designs and drawings. This role offers the chance to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to advanced welding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D modeling and drafting
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to learn 3D CAD drafting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
