ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Rotating weekends required
• Patient ratios of 4:1 (or 6:1 for low acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients)
• Must have Alaska RN license at time of submission
• Prior emergency department experience required
• Stroke and STEMI experience required
• Trauma and pediatrics experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, appropriate fit (not tight or revealing)
• Work with equipment including Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I stat, EPOC, GE monitors
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Perform typical emergency department duties plus splinting and breathing treatments
• Must be flexible, transparent, positive, outgoing, efficient, and a team player

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 20 headwall beds and 4 halls, serving as a key provider of emergency medical services. The department maintains a staff of approximately 50 healthcare professionals and utilizes modern medical equipment and technology to provide quality emergency care. The facility follows structured staffing models with charge nurses, flow coordinators, registered nurses, emergency department technicians, and unit secretaries working collaboratively across different shifts to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
