Key Responsibilities
Cut meat to be sold to customers
Service guests by answering questions and/or filling special orders
Rotate and check code dates on products
Wrap and maintain meat case
Provide products and services that meet customer requirements
Maintain safety as the top priority
Become familiar with store products
Utilize knowledge of code dating
Cultivate a foodie culture
Smile and greet customers
Make ground meat
Inspire Team Members and guests
Properly handle products and equipment
Provide active sampling opportunities
Unload deliveries
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and areas
Accurately record and prepare special orders
Assist in maintaining meat cooler and freezer
Follow procedures to meet out-of-stock goals
Required Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of job specific skills assessment
6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
