Job Description

Join Staples as an Inside Sales Manager for Quill, where you'll drive revenue growth by building strong partnerships in the public sector and commercial markets. This remote role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to engage effectively with prospective customers in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create custom pricing solutions for high growth customers
  • Leverage education contracts to acquire new customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management team
  • Meet and exceed quotas and metrics
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Seek continuous improvement and coaching
  • Positively impact team culture
  • Drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
  • Required travel within territory (approximately 50%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
